The Water Resource Strategy Division is looking for someone who is passionate about water and working with people.
The Water Monitoring Coordinator works with over 55 partners in the Regional Water Monitoring Partnership to deliver monitoring for the state.
The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills and experience in the water sector. The water sector experience will help with understanding the technical aspects of the role and understanding water monitoring requirements.
Highlights of the position include the opportunity to support and shape surface and groundwater monitoring in Victoria and work across the water sector with lots of partner organisations.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- An appropriate qualification in engineering, science, natural resource management or equivalent is desirable.
- Previous water sector experience is desirable
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne/flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
