Centre for Project Management is looking to onboard a Soil and Water Conservation Expert for training and consulting assignments as they may be scheduled from time to time.
Key Scope Objectives
1. Understand the causes and impacts of soil erosion, water depletion, and land degradation on ecosystems and agriculture.
2. Identify and assess different types of soil and water conservation techniques that can be applied in various environmental contexts.
3. Design and implement soil and water conservation strategies that enhance agricultural productivity, conserve water, and protect soil.
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of different conservation measures in real-world scenarios.
5. Integrate soil and water management practices into sustainable land-use planning and management frameworks.
6. Apply modern technologies and tools (e.g., GIS, remote sensing) for assessing and managing soil and water resources.
LOCATION: NAIROBI, KENYA
WORK TYPE: PART TIME (30 HRS Contract Renewable (1 week session))
TIMINGS: 8:30pm – 4:00pm (Mon – Friday)
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree or recognized higher qualification in Agriculture and Environmental Resource Management
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in related field.
• Exceptional document writing skills and computer literacy.
• Impressive Presentation and Public Speaking skills.
