About the Role:
The Senior Hydrographer is responsible for the collection and entry of water data into information systems; contributing vital information to help the South Australian Government manage potential impacts on its water resources. They undertake complex data analysis and prepare reports addressing quantity, quality, and location for each dataset. A key component of the role includes responsibility for assisting with the development of plans and reports; contributing to all project outcomes as directed.​

Contract: Contract for up to 30 June 2026
Essential Qualifications: A qualification in hydrology/hydrogeology or equivalent.
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- Some intrastate travel requiring overnight absence may be required.
- Out of hours work will be required.
- Must be a confident swimmer.
- This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain an NPC.
Remuneration: TGO2 $75,240 min – $79,880 max p.a.
