The Department for Environment and Water is looking for multiple Senior Scientific Officer’s to work in the Freshwater, River Murray and Coorong Sciences Team. Based in Adelaide, this role focuses on the delivery and evaluation of freshwater, River Murray and Coorong environmental programs and projects. The role will also involve developing and maintaining strong partnerships and collaborations with a diverse range of stakeholders. Contract:
This is a merit recruitment pool and successful applicants may be appointed to a role at any time within a 12 month period
Essential Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in environment, conservation or a related NRM discipline is required
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- A current driver’s licence is essential, along with a willingness to undertake four-wheel-drive training.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
Remuneration:
PO3 – $101,285 min – $107,078 max p.a.
