Description
- The student will work on a new project funded by the Water Research Commission to further enhance the Water Research Observatory.
- The title of the study will be ‘From big data to actionable data to enhance water resource management’
Requirements
- BSc (Hons) in hydrology, water science, agronomy, soil science, geography, environmental sciences or similar quantitative fields, as well as a strong interest in data or computer science.
- Programming experience with Python, R or a similar language is an advantage.
- Applicants should be highly motivated graduates with a strong academic background.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- A valid driver’s licence (code 08/EB) would be an added advantage.
