Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent qualification) in environmental and waterborne transport management or area relevant to developing environmental impact assessment guidelines for waterways transportation is required.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in environmental impact assessment is required.
  • Excellent skills in report writing and presentation, as well as training in English, are required.
  • Experience in developing environmental impact assessment standards/guidelines and training in environmental impact assessment, especially for inland navigation, is desirable.
  • Work experience with MRC and Mekong’s navigation work is desirable.
  • Immediate availability will be considered an advantage to the selection process.
