Objective and Purpose of the Assignment
• Strengthen the behavior change community mitigation measures and
• Strengthen the institutional capacity of selected local governments to contain the COVID-19 pandemic
and other health emergencies
Scope of Work
(i) Enhance knowledge of good personal hand hygiene practice to 400 persons (50% women) in 10 project
towns.
(ii) Conduct activities to increase skills and knowledge of health and safety protocols to at least 50
staffs of municipalities and Water Users’ Committees of 15 project towns.
(iii) Train at least 100 frontline sanitation and waste workers (33% women) on disinfection of public
spaces in accordance with health and safety protocols of 13 project towns.
Detailed Tasks and/or Expected Output
• Maintain co-ordination with the concerned local level and PMO.
• Arrange logistics like training hall, refreshments, sound systems, training materials, banners, lesson
plans, training schedules etc.
• Conduct trainings
• Arrange for training experts
• Co-ordinate with the communication expert and WASH expert related to their respective assignments
• Prepare report on completion
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Master’s degree in Arts, Sociology or equivalent.
Minimum General Experience: 10 Years
Minimum Specific Experience (relevant to assignment): 7 Years
