This is a full-time on-site role for Leak Detection Technicians at Water Vision Technology across the GCC. The Technicians will be responsible for conducting daily leak detection activities using satellite-based technology, analyzing the data and determining the appropriate device/s to use for pinpointing leaks. Equipment available on each vehicle ranges from amplified listing devices, inline Technolgies, correlators, and Hydrogen Gas technology.
Must Have
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in water technology, plumbing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in leak detection, plumbing, or water systems.
- Proficiency with leak detection equipment and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environmental conditions.
- Physical stamina for extended periods of walking and working in various environments.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including late evenings and early mornings.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic communication skills for documentation and team coordination.
- Experience with modern leakage control techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of the formation of DMZs and DMAs.

Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct regular inspections of water distribution systems to identify leaks using specialized equipment, such as acoustic, correlation, and tracer gas systems.
· Accurately locate and mark leak sites, documenting findings for further analysis and repair.
· Operate and maintain leak detection equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
· Analyze data collected from inspections and generate reports detailing the location and severity of leaks.
· Collaborate with field teams and other departments to prioritize and coordinate repairs.
· Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and actions taken.
· Plan, develop, and conduct leak detection surveys using amplified acoustic equipment, ground microphones, and listening devices.
· Utilize available resources to detect, pinpoint, and promote leakage for repair within the DMA or outside the DMA, including transmission, main, and service lines.
· Monitor and measure water loss reductions.
· Undertake ‘step test’ as part of a team.
· Mentor Leakage Detectors to ensure best practices are followed at all times.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and protocols at all times.
· Ensure health and safety policies, company best practices, protocols, standards, and procedures are adhered to at all times.
