Offer Description
Candidates for the competition must meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and the following qualification criteria:
• Hold a master’s degree (MSc/MEng) or an equivalent degree in Environmental Engineering, or hold a doctoral degree (PhD) in Biological Sciences in the field of Biotechnology (Industrial Biotechnology) or in the field of Engineering and Technical Sciences, in the discipline of Environmental Engineering, Mining, and Energy.
• As of the application date, act as a principal investigator or a researcher in at least one research project.
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate:
• A good command of English and fluency in Polish, both spoken and written (applies to foreign candidates).
• A significant scientific output, including at least five publications in Q1-ranked journals.
• Research experience related to aerobic and anaerobic wastewater treatment technologies for various wastewater characteristics, microalgae cultivation aimed at bioenergy applications, and molecular biology methods, documented through publications in JCR-listed journals.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools (Statistica, GraphPad, R).
