The Jacobs Water Infrastructure team has upcoming exciting opportunities to join a well-established and thriving national team with a strong pipeline of projects. You will be joining a truly connected ANZ Water Solutions business who provide the full suite of consulting services from advisory and engineering through to operations and asset management.
Our Water Infrastructure team is a centre of excellence for resilient design on infrastructure projects of all scales across Aotearoa, Australia and beyond. Our team works seamlessly across multiple geographies embracing Jacobs culture of flexibility and global teaming. #JacobsWaterANZ
Opportunities:
Jacobs are currently looking for Engineers of all levels and disciplines to help grow our team in the Wellington region.
By joining us, you will deliver engineering consulting services to support valued clients of ours which will encompass projects including infrastructure upgrades across all disciplines, including civil, hydraulic, geotechnical, electrical, mechanical and asset management.
We are looking for people with experience in the Water consulting space such as:
- Mechanical Engineers
- Civil Engineers
- Process Engineers
- Drafters/Designers
- Design Managers
- Project Managers
Some key skills that are easily transferred into Water are; experience in design consulting, experience with hydraulic modelling, microstation, AutoCAD Plant3D.
Here’s what you’ll need
- A tertiary qualification in engineering
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in Water Infrastructure engineering designs
- Experience with procurement planning, construction sequencing and project programme reporting.
- Actively engaging in and developing a safety culture within the office and fieldwork.
- Ability to build constructive, appropriate and balanced relationships with counterparts and colleagues
- Ability to plan, design, read, interpret and supervise complex engineering projects and assignments.
Desirable
- Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent.
- Engineers with experience within the Wellington Region
- Engineers within and/or willing to relocate to the Wellington Region
