As an Energy & Water specialist, you will be part of our Facility Services DK in Bjerringbro, consisting of 70 employees. You will be based in Bjerringbro and report to Head of Facility Services DK, Peter Rosen Christensen. 

At Facility Service DK we operate, maintain and develop supplies for Grundfos buildings, consisting of everything from production factories to VIP buildings, primarily in Bjerringbro, but also in the rest of the country. The production-critical supplies include gas, cooling, heating, air, ventilation, high voltage, electrical installations, etc. The building stock is approx. 300,000 m2, and we have the following CTS installed: Ecostructure building operation (EBO).


What is the job about?
As an Energy & Water specialist, you will have a versatile role within energy consumption. More specifically, you will be responsible for ensuring an overview of Facility’s energy consumption and showing optimization potential. A large part of the job will take place in CTS and you must be system and data strong and be able to understand complex systems. 

Design of BMS networks and development of the entire BMS area as well as design of graphical user interfaces to clarify energy improvements in the building stock. In addition, you will support the department’s other Coordinators in monitoring energy consumption and together improving our equipment on an ongoing basis. 


You will manage and expand energy recording systems, build internal energy reports and ensure their availability to Facility management. You must be data-driven and be able to visualize and present complex systems in a simple way.

Some of your work tasks include: 

  • Follow-up on Energy reviews.
  • System responsible PME (Power Monitoring Expert)
  • MinEnergi2 (REM / Real Time Energy Monitoring System).
  • Overview of Energy infrastructure.
  • Energy meter responsible in Facility for office buildings and Facility installations.
  • ISO50001.
  • Excel and Power BI.

What we are looking for 
You will have a broad range of contacts and communicate with many different people in this role. Your outgoing nature and natural curiosity will benefit you as you collaborate and create good relationships along the way. 


In addition, we assume that you: 
Have a technical background and education such as Energy Technologist, CTS Specialist, Mechanical Engineer or other relevant education within Energy or building operations. 
Have experience with Schneider CTS, operation of CTS systems and energy reporting systems such as EnergiKey, MinEnergi2 or Schneider PME. 
Have solid IT and programming skills.
Speak and write Danish and English.
