At the Aire Rivers Trust we’re the only environmental charity dedicated to looking after the Aire and its tributaries. We work to improve our rivers through habitat enhancement, reducing pollution, and improving access and education. Catchment Officer
Salary: £31,000 pa
Location: Office based in Bradford with a need for site visits and meetings across the Aire catchment.
This is a full time role.
About the Role
The Aire Rivers Trust is a charity dedicated to improving the River Aire and its catchment. We are looking for a Catchment Officer to join our friendly growing team.
The role is responsible for supporting the sustainable management of the Aire Catchment and leading the Aire Catchment Network. This includes developing and delivering projects, communicating the work of the network, and updating the catchment management plan.
The ideal candidate will have a degree (or relevant experience) in environmental science, geography, ecology, hydrology or a related field. They will also have experience in practical environmental projects and working with stakeholders.
