Description

To accelerate progress to achieving SDG 6, UNICEF’s Sustainable Water, Sanitation and Health (WASH) Innovation Hub is focusing on innovations that tackle key challenges, particularly finding solutions to problems in groundwater mapping and identification. UNICEF is exploring utilizing Geophysical scanners in mapping aquifers to depth penetration of at least 500m. The technology has potential for scaling and providing a solution to groundwater mapping challenges and supporting existing activities such as Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) which the WASH Innovation Hub is currently undertaking.

UNICEF is requesting for information on availability of approach(es), technologies, and or services on the market for groundwater mapping of aquifers to depth penetration of at least 500m in various contexts. Proposers should respond to the Request for Information (RFI) by filling up the online form provided under the “Link” tab.
