Salary: £28-000-£31,000 depending on experience (plus 9% Employer’s Contribution and Life Insurance Scheme)
Contract:Â Fixed term 24 months (6 months probationary period). Includes cover for Maternity Leave
Hours:Â Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Wessex Rivers Trust (Wessex RT) is an environmental charity, dedicated to the protection and conservation of rivers and chalk streams in the Wessex area. Wessex RT is part of the Rivers Trust movement; the umbrella organisation helping to protect and enhance most of the UK’s rivers.
This is an exciting opportunity to take our evolving Catchment Management Programme to the next level, helping the Trust and our stakeholders to protect and enhance these special rivers.
Our expanding portfolio requires a dedicated Catchment Programme Officer who, as an experienced environmental scientist, will lead on a diverse range of both established and new work packages, including Invasive Non-Native Species management, Catchment Partnership hosting, environmental monitoring, and the design and delivery of nature based solutions.
