[Work content and job description]
Research field: The successful candidate is required to have outstanding research achievements in the relevant fields of water environment science, water resources science and environmental engineering, especially in water-related environmental research such as the behavior of water pollutants, technologies to remove contaminants from water, water environment conservation and remediation, and water resources management, etc. The candidate should be highly motivated to develop interdisciplinary research in collaboration with different fields. In addition, the candidate is expected to lead the relevant research fields and promote international collaborative research.
Educational activities: The successful candidate will be responsible for education at the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences (IGSES), and at the Department of Interdisciplinary Engineering in the School of Engineering (IENG), including the collaborative education program with Colleges of Technology (KOSEN). The candidate may be in charge of art and science education (KIKAN) and education at the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation (KYOSO). In addition, the successful candidate should be willing to actively supervise master’s and doctoral students, including international students, and is expected to actively commit to the internationalization of the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences (IGSES). Therefore, the candidate is expected to have sufficient English language skills in addition to research and educational abilities.
