JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The part-time research assistant will support an ongoing research project based on research data that was collected in Colombia in the Frio and Sevilla River Basin. Research tasks will focus on compiling information collected during the project’s earlier phases. This includes archival research on indigenous communities, collective land tenure resolutions, creation of a timeline of legal acts towards protecting indigenous lands, and initial institutional analysis.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
