Requirements:
– postdoctoral degree,
– knowledge of fluid mechanics or hydraulics and hydrology or water management issues,
– significant scientific achievements,
– experience in teaching, including teaching related to subjects involving water engineering.

In the case of winning a competition by a person who is employed within the framework of an employment relationship with another employer engaged in the following activities: research, research and teaching, research and development, implementation (excluding the cases specified in Article 125 para. 3 of the Act), and this employment does not expire by the date of employment at the Wrocław University of Technology as the primary place of employment, the person shall, in accordance with Article 125, paragraph 1 of the Act, subject to Article 125, paragraph 2 of the Act, be required to obtain the consent of the Rector for additional employment under the employment relationship with another employer after his/her employment at the Wrocław University of Technology. The date of receipt of documents is decisive. The deadline for receipt of application documents is considered to be 13.00 on the day indicated in the Information on the competition. Receipt of documents from the candidate will be confirmed by the HR Assistant/Assistant via e-mail to the address indicated in the application.
The applications of the candidates will be reviewed by the Competition Committee appointed by the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. After the closing of the competition proceedings, applications of unsuccessful applicants sent by snail mail will be returned. Interested parties will be able to pick them up from the HR Assistant/Assistant within 6 months after the closing of the competition proceedings, against receipt of receipt.
The University stipulates that the competition may be unresolved.
Prior to establishing an employment relationship with the person who wins the competition, Wroclaw University of Technology will verify him/her in accordance with the provisions of the Act of May 13, 2016 on Prevention of Sexual Offenses and Protection of Minors. The data necessary for this verification (PESEL No. or, if there is no PESEL, family name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth) will be obtained only from the successful applicant and should not be provided at the application stage.
