The Senior Drought and Dry Conditions Coordinator will lead the coordination of policy development and responses across the Water and Catchments Group related to drought preparedness and drying conditions.
This is a great opportunity to work with staff across the Water and Catchments Group and DEECA and advise the Water and Catchments Group Executive on preparedness for and response to drying conditions.
We are looking for someone with advanced collaboration skills that can think critically to solve complex problems realted to dry condition response.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in natural resource management, law, engineering, environmental science or other relevant discipline is desirable.
- Sound knowledge of the water sector would be well regarded.
This is a fixed term position available for a period until 15 November 2025. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
