The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Expert Analyst to join our Water Programme. In this role, you will lead high-impact projects, shape investment strategies, and engage key stakeholders in South Africa’s water sector. Your work will directly contribute to job creation, investment, and sustainable water solutions that improve resource efficiency and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead on water sector projects, providing strategic and expert input to drive project success.
- Increase resource efficiency in the private and public sectors by identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
- Lead stakeholder engagements and build strong relationships to support sector growth and resilience.
- Develop viable business cases for investment and provide technical support to municipalities and government.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Resource Management.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in the water sector, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Strong understanding of sustainable water and wastewater technologies and infrastructure.
Preferred:
- Existing network of key stakeholders in the water sector.
- Fluency in Afrikaans, isiXhosa, or isiZulu.
