About the opportunity

Aither is seeking graduates / analysts to meet growing demand across multiple practice areas of our business. As a Graduate, you will be engaged on diverse projects across a range of sectors including water, agriculture, infrastructure and the environment. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality proposals and projects and support with client engagement activities. By collaborating and working with industry leading professionals, you will enhanceyour analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. you will be asked to contribute manage and deliver projects and drive thought leadership in your areas of expertise.

About your practical experience

Utilities and Infrastructure Consulting Area

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in economics or a closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrate the ability to:
    • Apply economic frameworks and communicating to non-economist audiences or the ability to rapidly acquire the experience
    • Translate analysis into clear and practical advice (written and verbal)
    • Build financial and economic models or the ability to rapidly acquire the experience

Water Policy and Management Consulting Area

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in natural resource management, sustainability, public policy, economics or related discipline.
  • Demonstrate the ability to:
    • Problem solve and think laterally, and creatively
    • Utilise primary and secondary research data to analyse and contribute to reports
    • Increase knowledge of Australia’s urban and rural water sectors, including relevant policy, legislation and institutional arrangements

Water Markets Consulting Area

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in natural resource management, sustainability, public policy, economics or related discipline.
  • Demonstrate the ability to:
    • Manipulate, analyse, manage and present data in client-ready formats (ideally in Python)
    • Provide working knowledge of water markets and/or other resource markets
    • Problem solve and think laterally, and creatively

Resilience and Adaptation Consulting Area

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in natural resource management, sustainability, public policy, economicsor related discipline.
  • Demonstrate the ability to:
    • Problem solve and think laterally, and creatively
    • Utilise primary and secondary research data to analyse and contribute to reports
    • Translate analysis into clear and practical advice (written and verbal)
