Job Title: Community Trainer – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

Type: Full-Time

Minimum Qualifications: Master in Social Work/Development Studies/Environmental Sciences or related field

Experience- Min-2 years

Location- Naya Gaon, Sohna Block, Gurugram, Haryana

Salary – INR 4,80,000 per annum (CTC)

Date of Joining- Immediate

Mandatory Requirement: A two-wheeler is essential to ensure efficient and frequent field visits for effective outreach.

SUMMARY:

The Community Trainer – Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs focused on water conservation, sanitation, and hygiene practices with the community including students, women, youth, urban and rural communities.

The trainer will work closely with schools, communities, and relevant stakeholders to promote behaviour change and ensure the adoption of sustainable practices. The role involves capacity building, awareness creation, and active engagement with communities to meet project objectives. The Trainer – Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WaSH) requires strong communication, facilitation, and instructional skills to deliver effective, culturally sensitive training. Expertise in WASH principles, and assessment tools is essential, along with proficiency in report writing, data collection and analysis, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and impactful training on water, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of WASH interventions and training outcomes.
  • Build awareness and actively engage with communities to promote hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Foster collaborations with local stakeholders for enhanced WASH program impact and sustainability.
  • Ensure accurate monitoring, reporting, and data management for all training sessions.
