Description of the tasks performed at the position:
- Conducting and implementing research and market works in the field of environmental engineering, in particular in the field of technological solutions for water and sewage management, including the use of sewage for technological, agricultural and reclamation purposes, removal of specific pollutants from water and sewage, as well as purification of mine waters,
- Conducting research and research and development work and participating in the work of national and international research teams,
- Publishing research results,
- Establishing and maintaining cooperation with domestic and foreign research institutions and water sector enterprises in the field of creating new solutions in water and sewage management.

Skills/Qualifications
Requirements for the candidates:
- Ph.D. in engineering and technical sciences,
- Documented scientific achievements in the field of environmental engineering, including in the area of required scientific competences (scientific papers, publications, completed courses),
- Experience in implementing national and/or international research and development projects,
- Experience in carrying out research and development or expert work in the field of environmental engineering, in particular in the area of water and sewage management,
- Knowledge of the issues of eliminating micro-pollutants from water and sewage,
- Knowledge of the issues related to obtaining environmental decisions, including water permits and decisions with environmental conditions.
- Good knowledge of English – documented by a certificate at least at B2 level,
