About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Technical Officer in the Water Science and Monitoring Branch based at Regency Park SA. The incumbent will undertake field surveys in the State’s groundwater network using established methodologies. On the job training will be provided with some supervision while in the field and office. The Technical Officer will collect and record data into information systems and provide in time some analysis of the data collected. Light truck and 4WD operation will be a requirement and the use of electronic survey equipment mainly geophysics is requirement of the incumbent.

Contract:
Contract up to 30 June 2026.
Essential Qualifications:
A qualification in the engineering, science or geosciences disciplines or equivalent.
Special Conditions:
- A current National Police Clearance is essential.
- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties
- Some intrastate travel requiring overnight absence may be required
- Out of hours work will be required.
- Must be willing to obtain the required licenses to safely operate plant and equipment.
Remuneration:
TGO2 $75,240 min – $79,880 max p.a.
