Job DescriptionJob Purpose
To supplement the skillset and offering of the existing SLR Africa Water and Wastewater Engineering team based in Fourways

Minimum Requirements:
BSc/BES Honours degree in hydrology (MSc degree will be added advantage)
More than 5 years of relevant experience in hydrological studies in the consulting sector.
Proficient in Word, Excel, QGIS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD.
Experience in flood risk studies and flood extent modelling.
Valid driver’s license
Must be willing to travel.
Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
Conduct water quantity/quality sampling and monitoring as part of baseline assessment.
Conduct field work including site reconnaissance/audit, locally and internationally.
Conduct flood line modelling and hydrological assessments through the use of HEC_RAS and other hydrology software.
Undertake flood extent and dam breach studies.
Undertake surface water impact assessment studies.
Draft technical reports
Develop and maintain client relationships.
Carry out business development and marketing activities.
Project managing and administrating projects.
