- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $106,025 to $117,363 + super
The Northern Basin Connectivity team is seeking to appoint a Project Officer to perform project management and support activities to contribute to delivery of Northern Basin Connectivity Program. This is a priority Program that is working to improve hydrological connectivity across the northern NSW Murray Darling Basin to provide for critical downstream needs.
About you
You have a keen desire to make a difference through the work you do. To be successful in the role you will be
- experienced in providing project management and support services including maintaining project documentation to ensure projects are achieved on time and deliver required outcomes
- competent in preparing briefs and reports for monitoring and evaluation purposes
- adept in coordinating and managing logistics for project meetings, and other related meetings, to enable their efficient and effective operation
- proficient at communicating effectively and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels both internal and external
- able to prioritise tasks, and undertake pressing organisational requirements within tight deadlines
- willing to undertake research, analysis, and review of options to inform decision making
experience in water related areas such as water planning, natural resource management, agriculture, environmental science or a relevant field would be an advantage
Essential Requirements
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays.
