Major Functions
The Senior Water Stewardship Project Officer will support the head of the program on promoting water stewardship practices. They will support the freshwater team and will collaborate with other programme teams in relation to promotion of water stewardship practices, monitoring water quality, enhancing sustainable production and consumption practices by the industries. They will engage with partners to promote WWF’s water stewardship practices.
Major Responsibilities
● Coordinate the implementation of programmes and project activities that promote water stewardships
● Coordinate and maintain a network of partners
● Maintain a water stewardship related database
● Provide capacity building and awareness programmes
● Coordinate with other WWF offices for collaboration
● Support in the implementation of programmers and projects

Requirements
● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in water resource management, water/wastewater engineering, environmental science or in relevant fields
● Experience in water sector such as pollution management, wastewater treatment, nature-based solution
● Proven experience in project management including financial management
● At least 4 years of working experience out of which at least 1 year working experience in an international NGO
● Able to communicate diplomatically and effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
● Fluency in written and spoken English and Myanmar language is required
