The USAID funded Innovation Laboratory for Irrigation and Mechanization Systems (ILIMS) at the University of Nebraska has just released a Request for Applications (RFA), available at this link:

We are willing to fund up to fifteen research projects in the following topic areas:
• Irrigation service provision
• Mechanization service provision
• Agricultural water management in the landscape
• Innovative finance and agricultural water management
• Capacity needs and approaches to strengthening
Funding is available at USD$ 150,000 to USD$ 800,000 per project. Countries in which we expect the research to take place are Ethiopia, Rwanda, Ghana, Nepal, Guatemala, Honduras, Zambia, and Malawi. Other Feed the Future countries and regional initiatives will also be considered. Project consortia must have a partner in the country in which the research will be performed.
