Offer Description
The aim of the research activities is to advance the state of the art, improving and combining existing approaches, or devising new ones, in the geochemical investigation methodologies applied to the: i) definition, characterisation and assessment of the potential of geothermal resources, both of high-temperature and related to the shallow ground heat exchange to produce thermal energy, ii) origin of fluids, evaluation and impact of human activities on the quality of environmental matrices
such as groundwater and surface water. The research program, both for geothermal topics and fluid
circulation in the crust, will be applied to active or recent volcanic areas as well as sedimentary and
metamorphic successions.
