New Water Security Activity for the Philippines
USAID intends to release a new Water Security Activity for the Philippines. The overall goal of the new water activity is to advance the Philippine’s water security goals to foster more resilient communities, ecosystems, and economy. Objectives of the program include improving water service provider’s performance for increased access to sustainable WASH services; enhancing institutional processes for accelerating water security at the sub-national (provincial, regional and watershed) levels; and strengthening national water sector institutions, governance and financing to enable scaling of actions to increase water security.
The new Water Security Activity will support the Government of Philippines (GPH) in fulfilling the country’s water security goals.
DAI seeks qualified candidates to support the program in a variety of technical and operational areas. Expertise is sought in the areas of:
- Water supply, sanitation, and hygiene
- Water resources management
- Governance
- Resource mobilization
- Private sector engagement
- Gender equity and social inclusion
- Climate risk management
- MEL/CLA
- Human Resources
- Grants Management
- Finance (financial reporting, financial management, accounting, tax/payroll)
- Operations (procurement, logistics, information technology, administration)
