About the Role
Join a small team in Water Infrastructure Development responsible for program management of projects across NSW including in the Murray Darling Basin. To see the work we do, go to: Water Infrastructure In NSW
As the Senior Project Officer – Basin and Regional Programs, you will assist with managing the Basin Plan and regional capital works program interfaces and liaise with key stakeholders on individual projects in order to improve delivery of water infrastructure projects that achieve water security across NSW, drive economic growth in regional NSW economies, support towns and communities and enhance environmental outcomes.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will have experience in managing interdependencies and balancing competing demands to ensure the team’s objectives are achieved in a timely manner under changing and evolving circumstances.
You are self-motivated and use your initiative to identify issues that need escalation and developing solutions to appropriately resolve issues and ensure that key deliverables and outcomes continue to progress.
With good verbal and written communication, you have the demonstrated ability to deal with a diverse range of complex and sensitive issues, characterised by conflicting priorities, high volume workload, and political sensitivities. Allowing you to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.
