You will join a multidisciplinary team that has successfully delivered key projects in the NSW water sector and collaborate with talented professionals nationwide (Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast). Working on iconic projects, you will drive future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities.
We are involved in some of Australia’s leading water programs, partnering with key clients including:
- Delivering 4 Customers, Sydney Water
- Logan Water Partnership, Logan City Council
- SA Water Engineering Panel
- Wastewater Regional Program and Water Southern Zones Programs, Urban Utilities
- Capital Delivery Office (CDO), TasWater
- Gold Coast PSP
What you’ll do:
We value diverse strengths and are seeking Senior Civil Engineers and Associate Civil Engineers with proven experience in the water, mining, or industrial sectors. Depending on your background, you will:
- Drive technical excellence in water and wastewater infrastructure design projects.
- Develop and execute civil designs from concept design to detailed design, ensuring high technical standards including the production and review of high-quality technical documentation.
- Support the design team in improving client feedback, enhancing satisfaction, and exceeding expectations.
- Participate in project and design management across a range of projects and program of works
- Mentor and develop emerging professionals
- Collaborate effectively within local and national teams, particularly on large-scale, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and programs.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Experienced or Senior Engineer in a consultancy environment.
- Experience in detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, with specific experience in pipeline and pump station design.
- Experience in the design management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of relevant industry-related Australian Standards and WSAA codes is advantageous. Sydney Water projects highly advantageous
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartered status.
- Well-developed use and understanding of Civil 3D modeling software, and 2D and 3D CADD software is advantageous.
- Understanding of related safety in design practices and processes.
- Ability to submit technical reports to a high standard requiring minimal correction, and provide final review of reports.
- Experience in Design and Construction projects is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
