About Centre for Microfinance & Livelihood (CML): The Centre for Microfinance & Livelihood (CML) was initiated by the Tata Trusts, Mumbai in 2008. Position Title: Junior Engineer (Springshed Management) – “Promoting Integrated Community Managed Drinking Water Quality and Security Program in Assam and Tripura”

Location Field (Jampui Hill Block-North Tripura district & Ambassa Block- Dhalai district, Tripura)
Position Purpose
As a Junior Engineer(Springshed Management), the incumbent is expected to lead the delivery of the WaSH interventions in the areas of operation of the organization in Springshed Management Program in 2 blocks of North Tripura and Dhalai districts covering 30 villages.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the effective support and delivery of the Detail Technical Reports (DTRs) of the selected springs in coordination with Geo-hydrologist and Project Engineer;
• Responsible for overseeing all the civil-related works on site regarding implementation of DTR;
• To provide hand-holding support to the field team in the implementation of the program in engineering approach;
• Responsible for coordinating with the local agencies and government departments with regard to WASH interventions;
• Conduct Field testing with FTK Kit and set up Water Quality mechanisms;
• To document the process and the success stories from the field;
• To maintain the relevant data set and documentation and to update the same at regular intervals;
• To develop the internal reflection system within the team;
• Any other relevant task that comes under the scope of their work.
Essential Skills:
• Possess demonstrated capabilities of leadership and institutional development experience.
• Possess the ability to innovate future strategies and deliver, in a challenging environment.
• Knowledge on Auto CAD software and preparation of estimates, design, drawing is necessary.
• Have a good command of spoken and written English, Bengali.
• Possess excellent computer skills, interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills and can work as a member of a team.
Educational Qualification and experience: B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Minimum 2-3 years of Experience in the field of Civil Engineering.
[Experience in WaSH/Drinking Water Projects shall be preferred].
Immediate Joining is Preferable.
Remuneration: INR 25000- INR 30000 Per Month (Including PF, Gratuity and Medical)
Field level Bike expenses will be reimbursement on actual basis.
