ERM is looking for a motivated, Water Resources Consultant, who is interested in participating on a variety of projects, to join our consulting firm in Mexico City, MX.
In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers on CS&CC and related projects. Responsibilities:
- Execution of water projects related to management, quality, compliance, strategy planning, processes, etc.
- Performing specific tasks and deliverables or phases of work on projects in multiple, under the supervision of a project manager.
- Elaboration of water balances, identification and evaluation of water environmental aspects).
- Establishment of regulatory compliance strategies.
- Develop consulting skills, gain understanding of ERM practices, clients, products, and services.
- Support the development of business development proposals and activities.
Requirements:
- Completed bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is an asset) in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Sustainability and other related fields.
- 1-3 years of work experience in areas related to water projects, quality, regulatory compliance, sustainability, climate change, carbon footprint, emissions, water footprint, life cycle, etc.
- Essential written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Understanding and interest in establishing regulatory compliance strategies for water projects.
- Recommended experience in participating in energy and water efficiency projects.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically, as well as to synthesize diverse information.
- Willingness to perform field work.
- Driving license (required), passport and visa (desirable).
