ERM is looking for a motivated, Water Resources Consultant, who is interested in participating on a variety of projects, to join our consulting firm in Mexico City, MX.

In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers on CS&CC and related projects. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging projects for large industrial and global clients. Responsibilities:

  • Execution of water projects related to management, quality, compliance, strategy planning, processes, etc.
  • Performing specific tasks and deliverables or phases of work on projects in multiple, under the supervision of a project manager.
  • Elaboration of water balances, identification and evaluation of water environmental aspects).
  • Establishment of regulatory compliance strategies.
  • Develop consulting skills, gain understanding of ERM practices, clients, products, and services.
  • Support the development of business development proposals and activities.

Requirements:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is an asset) in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Sustainability and other related fields.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in areas related to water projects, quality, regulatory compliance, sustainability, climate change, carbon footprint, emissions, water footprint, life cycle, etc.
  • Essential written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Understanding and interest in establishing regulatory compliance strategies for water projects.
  • Recommended experience in participating in energy and water efficiency projects.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically, as well as to synthesize diverse information.
  • Willingness to perform field work.
  • Driving license (required), passport and visa (desirable).
