The position is hybrid and it is not required to live in Denmark. We are open to receiving applications from professionals who are located near any Grundfos office worldwide.
What is the job about?
Grundfos has set some ambitious sustainability targets, including becoming climate-neutral by 2050 and providing drinking water access to 300 million people in need by 2030.
In this job, you will be supporting the Water Access and Climate Lead in a newly established programme management office that is driving these sky-high sustainability ambitions across Grundfos and our Water Utility division. Your tasks include:
• Market and business analyses, incl. developing business cases
• Crafting strategic and actionable initiatives
• Planning and project management
• Change management
Your main responsibilities will include:
Market and business analyses
• Conduct market intelligence and analyses on water access and climate.
• Develop business cases based on the gathered data.
• Analyze and compare data from multiple sources to gain insights on data-weak countries.
• Collaborate with Water Access and Climate Lead to deliver the analyses from insights collection to conclusion and presentation.
Crafting strategic initiatives
• Develop concrete initiatives from the ideation phase.
• Coordinate with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation.
• Summarize market and business analyses in easily understandable presentations for stakeholders.
Project management and planning
• Initiative reception, scoping and planning
• Defining input and budget required
• Development of concept and plan for successful implementation
• Ongoing monitoring and coordination to successfully implement the project
Systematic change management
• Support project and stakeholder management.
• Contribute to advancing our thinking in climate, water access, and new business practices.

Your background:
We imagine that you have:
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Sustainability Development Studies.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a relevant field.
• Ideally, familiarity with agile working set-up.
• Experience of delivering on sustainability initiatives in a manufacturing company is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of sustainability issues related to climate and water.
• A comprehensive business mindset and capabilities, with interest and insights into the global water and climate agenda. Having some technical knowledge to support climate business cases is a plus.
The personal skills and qualities required for effective performance:
• Advanced business understanding, with the ability to translate market insights into tangible business impact.
• Curiosity and interest in collaborating extensively and working flexibly.
• Great communication skills with the ability to create compelling narratives for presentations.
• Proficiency in English, with desirable French language skills.
• Cultural awareness and ability to practice cultural appropriateness.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Enthusiasm about joining Grundfos’ highly ambitious sustainability journey.
