NFGWS roles
The National Federation of Group Water Schemes (NFGWS) is delighted to announce a new graduate programme for the periodic recruitment of new staff to its organisation. Over the past 25 years, the NFGWS has established itself as an integral element of the community-owned group water scheme sector and the wider rural water sector.
The NFGWS is seeking to recruit recent graduates, for both Development Officer and Source Protection Officer positions. These roles will be of particular interest to those with a passion for areas such as rural development, engineering, environmental science, food science, social science, and/or community activism. This programme offers recent graduates an opportunity to gain valuable experience working for a professional organisation that provides a broad range of services to its members. Supported by the senior management team and office based staff, each appointee will have an assigned geographic area, within which they will work with group water schemes to provide them with support and mentoring services.
Following the successful completion an initial probationary period, employees can benefit from:
