We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Business Area Manager within Water in Cities in Norway.
About the position
As the Business Area Manager you will be responsible for engaging with clients and customers, driving business growth, and managing key projects in Norway. This role will report to the Head of Department in Norway and be part of the Nordic Water in Cities team, collaborating with team members from Sweden and Denmark.
Responsibilities
As the Business Area Manager your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading the team in preparing tenders and proposals within water supply and urban drainage, ensuring compelling and competitive submissions.
- Actively participating in sales efforts, proposals, and successful project deliveries.
- Successfully executing projects within the portfolio, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
- Managing key accounts within the market territory, establishing strong relationships, and maintaining regular communication to identify opportunities for growth and address any concerns.
- Providing coaching, guidance, and mentorship to the local team, fostering their professional development, and ensuring a high level of performance.
In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the success of the Water in Cities business segment in Norway. Your sales and project management efforts will contribute to the growth of our organization.
Objectives
In this role your primary objectives will be:
- Successfully execute the Go-To-Market plans in the designated territory, ensuring effective implementation and achievement of sales targets. Sales targets include targets for the digital product portfolio and advisory projects.
- Manage and develop existing client relationships, nurturing strong partnerships and identifying opportunities for business expansion and growth.
- Bring in and allocate team resources and expertise to support the Norwegian project portfolio, optimizing resource utilization and ensuring project success.
By achieving these objectives, you will contribute to the overall success and growth of the Water in Cities segment. Your strategic focus and client management skills will be instrumental in driving revenue, delivering projects, and positioning our organization as a leader in the industry.

- Advisory Business Expertise: You have hands-on experience in the advisory business and have a thorough understanding of the business drivers within the industry. You can provide valuable insights and solutions to clients, aligning their needs with organizational offerings.
- Proficiency in Norwegian: You possess excellent language skills in Norwegian, enabling effective communication with stakeholders, clients, and team members.

Location & Travel:
