- Collect groundwater quality samples throughout the statewide monitoring well network. This includes but is not limited to planning and preparation for field sampling, sample collection, sample delivery, and assisting with well redevelopment and maintenance.
- Analysis of Groundwater Management Branch databases, as well as, federal and other state databases to increase efficiency and quality control of sampling events.
- Review and update SOPs (standard operating procedures) and other supporting guidance materials as needed.
- Update and/or develop standardized data cleaning and formatting procedures; assist with integrating data into DWR databases and making data publicly available.
- Conduct geospatial analysis of groundwater quality data. Develop GIS datasets and other GIS products.
