Vacancy: Education and Engagement Manager (Part Time)
Salary: £31,000 – £35,000 (pro-rata) plus 9% Employer’s Pension Contribution
Location: Office (Salisbury)/Home-based, with some travel across Wessex and the Isle of Wight

We are looking to recruit a new part time Education and Engagement Manager to lead the way in our vital work throughout Wessex and the Isle of Wight. The successful candidate will be passionate about environmental education, community outreach and volunteer engagement.
Wessex Rivers Trust delivers hundreds of river education sessions and events each year to schools, uniformed groups, home education groups, teachers, and the general public. We aim to educate as many people as possible about our local chalk streams and rivers and empower local communities to take up stewardship of these precious environments.
As our Education and Engagement Manager you will oversee the growing team, with direct line management of the Senior Education Officer, Education Officer, Communications & Events Officer, and Youth Engagement Officer. You will be responsible for developing the education and engagement programmes, ensuring best practice is adhered to, including health and safety, and work with Trustees to maintain funding for the delivery programmes.
