- Plans and facilitates environmental education activities for summer youth and family programs at the Boise WaterShed Environmental Education Center
- Uses exhibits, art, and programs to teach people of all ages how to protect and conserve resources
- Works under general supervision
- This position is open to all interested persons ages 15 and older
- This position works Wednesdays from June – August
- This position is designated as At-Will.
Essential Functions
Collaborates, plans and teaches water and STEM educational activities for kids at the Boise WaterShed during WaterShed Wednesday events. Works with Water Education Coordinator and education staff on program development and implementation. Participates in team-building and environmental stewardship activities as scheduled. (100%)

Requirements
Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training
- Interest in water or the environment and working with children.
Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training
- 1 year of experience working with youths from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- First Aid and CPR Certification.

- Work in indoor and outdoor conditions
- Display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of City employees, the general public and other organizations
