The University of New England, located along the banks of the Saco Estuary, is the fiscal agent for the SWC that applies consensus-based decision-making and sustainability science-based strategies to implement the Action Plan and a 10-year plan of work recently . The Outreach and Communications Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Saco Watershed Collaborative. This position interacts with all partners, stakeholders, and interested parties working together to sustain the Saco Watershed for future generations. This position works independently to keep the Collaborative informed of relevant information and opportunities. The position also works collaboratively with the partners, committees, and project manager. The Outreach and Communications Coordinator must have a strong and successful track record of building and maintaining networks of relationships to support the larger sustainability goals throughout the watershed.
