Role Summary:
We are looking for someone to support the business with various internal and external events. This role not only managing our annual BlueTech Forum, which is a vast task, but also being involved in our Virtual Roundtables and organising the WEFTEC Innovation Pavilion.
Working with businesses globally including names such as Coca Cola, Unilever, Procter & Gamble and many more. The work and aims of BlueTech can be witnessed in the following film https://www.braveblue.world/
This is a vital role in which you will work very closely with the Vice President, which will support the key Business Development strategies on an International basis, by managing internal and external Events. From an In Person International Forum with over 300 people currently based within the USA, to a number of Virtual Events throughout the year, you will work with a range of external clients and global corporations who are focused on optimizing their water usage, you will build and maintain effective relationships and be an ambassador for the business, organising all elements of the Events, with full internal logistical and administrative support.
You will be:
· Managing the annual BlueTech Forum, which in previous years has been held in Vancouver, Singapore, Edinburgh and London. Sourcing and liaising with venues to organise all aspects of the event from start to finish, while being mindful of budgets set. This is a large event and requires a lot of multi-tasking to ensure all aspects work in the right way.
· Liaising with the Business Support Administrator to make sure that the website is up to date with all information needed to showcase the BlueTech Forum.
· Organisation of various company Virtual RoundTable events, liaising with the company CEO regarding the topics to be discussed and managing the event, including reaching out to potential attendees and advertising more widely.
· Supporting the WEFTEC Innovation Pavilion each year
