WATER EFFICIENCY MANAGER (d/f/m)
A vacancy for a “Water Efficiency Manager (d/f/m)” has arisen within Airbus Facility Management Real Estate* (FMRE). You would join the newly created and growing FMRE Sustainability team.

Airbus has recently received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its greenhouse gas emission reduction targets between now and the next 5-10 years.
These targets are based on climate science and cover the full set of its emissions: Scope 1, 2 and 3. In response to this new challenge, the FMRE organization is establishing a Centre of Excellence (CoE) focused on ensuring these targets are met across all major global facilities.
The team comprises experienced sustainability specialists, focused on the global view of Decarbonisation, Water, Waste & Green Building/Infrastructure improvements.
Your challenges:
- Contribute to the group wide water efficiency & sustainability roadmap as part of Airbus’ integrated group-wide Facility Management & Real Estate function in order to achieve Airbus’ operational and strategic Sustainability objectives
- Responsible for establishing and managing the water efficiency & sustainability roadmap for the perimeter of AIRBUS covering the 3 divisions and currently focussing on European sites (France, Germany, UK, Spain)
- Being the prime interface and provide guidance for the divisions Sustainability and/or water management related departments
- Advice to stakeholder regarding internal and external regulations
- Lead one or several trans-divisional projects related to water efficiency
- Ensure that the project objectives are met in line with FMRE scope of activities and top company objectives
Your Boarding Pass / must haves:
- Master degree covering the field of Water Engineering / Water Management / Sustainability
- Proven technical experience as a specialist in Water Engineering / Water Management with focus on Sustainability (3-5 years)
- Knowledge of the global and local water related set-ups & associated regulations
Your Boarding Pass / additional qualifications:
- Proven Experience in internal Stakeholder Management in an international context
- Strong experience in Project Management, certification would be a plus
- Good negotiation, collaboration and communication skills. Team player.
- Strong leadership skills and mindset
- Excellent English skills oral and written: Please provide your CV in English.
- French skills would be a plus
