Your role
For this role, we are looking for a service-oriented team player with strong analytical skills, a structured thinker with the ability to multi-task between different tasks and systems. In this role you are mainly responsible for monitoring a portfolio of contracted investments within the Agribusiness sector in Africa. You will report to the Manager of the Africa team.
Activities include:
- Preparing credit reviews including market and financial analysis;
- Managing and deepening relationships with existing clients on an operational working level;
- Drafting credit approval documents and supporting the process for new transactions with existing clients;
- Assist in negotiating legal documentation (e.g. amendments) with the client, FMO and external law firms;
- Undertaking administrative portfolio management tasks (e.g. KYC, compliance, reporting).
- Participating in department / organization wide projects

- Gross yearly salary between EUR 50k- 65k per year (based on a 40-hour workweek, including holiday allowance)

Your background
- Master’s degree in economics, finance or business administration;
- At least two years of relevant working experience in corporate banking, development finance or private equity
. - Familiarity with debt financing in emerging markets, preferably in the food & agribusiness sector, would be an advantage.
