Application Procedure for 2024-2025 academic year
All applicants who wish to be considered for a JJ/WBGSP scholarship:
- Need to have applied for admission not later than 29 February 2024 and be academically admitted not later than 10 March 2024, to one of the eligible MSc programmes offered by IHE Delft.
- Should meet the JJ/WBGSP scholarship eligibility criteria. Please read the eligibility criteria carefully, to find out if you are eligible
- Be able to provide two professional recommendations from recommenders who can attest to their professional experiences at work. We experience that many applicants do not succeed in creating an eligible JJ/WBGSP application after they have been nominated, because they cannot arrange timely their recommenders.
- We strongly advise you to carefully review the application guidelines and the FAQ on the world bank website: https://www.worldbank.org/en/programs/scholarships/jj-wbgsp
IHE Delft will prepare a shortlist of up to 30 eligible JJ/WBGSP candidates and will share the link to the JJ/WBGSP scholarship application form with shortlisted candidates before application for the JJ/WBGSP scholarship opens.
Please note that e-mails requesting to be considered for nomination will not be answered. All applicants who have an academic admission for one of the four eligible tracks and who meet the JJ/WBGSP award criteria will be automatically considered.
After 10 March 2024:
- IHE Delft will make a short list of 30 eligible applicants per eligible track.
- JJ/WBGSP eligibility criteria will be considered by IHE Delft when preparing the shortlists of eligible JJ/WBGSP applicants.
- All candidates who are on the shortlist will be provided a link to the online JJ/WBGSP scholarship application form.
- The shortlisted candidates can apply for the JJ/WBGSP scholarship between 26 March and 24 May 2024 (12:00 EST).
- The World Bank will make the selection for the scholarships.
- You will be informed by the World Bank if you are selected for a scholarship by the end of June 2024.
