  • Background of the recruitment and description of the projectThe faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University invites applications for the academic position of Assistant Professor according to the following description

  • Work content and job description〔Research Area〕
    Hydraulic and Hydrologic Engineering, River and Watershed Engineering. Particularly, in the context of increasing frequency of extreme weather events and intensification of meteorological disasters attributed to climate change. This specialization pertains to disaster prevention and mitigation.

    〔Scope of Work〕
    Graduate courses on Field Engineering for the Environment in English/Japanese
    Undergraduate courses on Civil Engineering Course and Public Policy and Engineering Course in Japanese/English, Department of Socio-Environmental Engineering and relevant general education classes in Japanese.
