At the Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) we are looking for talented and like-minded people to join us and be part of our friendly, professional and committed team. 
 
The MDBA is recruiting for high-achieving students who are keen to gain experience in the integrated management of the water resources of the Murray–Darling Basin, in collaboration with state governments, industries and communities. To be eligible to apply you must be completing an undergraduate degree at a minimum (applications from students in their final years of study are preferred). 
 
The MDBA maintains a Tertiary Students Temporary Employment register to assist with sourcing suitable candidates to fill temporary opportunities initially up to 12 months with the possibility of 6 month extension. Dependent on operational needs, the Tertiary Students Temporary Employment register may be used to fill full time, part time and casual opportunities. Positions may be filled as vacancies arise based on the relevant work area needs at the APS1 to APS6 classification levels. Your application will remain active until  30 June 2024
 
We are particularly interested in students studying: 
 
• mathematics / data analytics 
• engineering (civil/structural, environmental, mechanical / electrical, water) 
• environmental science / social science / climate science 
• natural resource management 
• hydrology
