Nature of Work
This position is essential to provide necessary support in the implementation of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. The functions of this position support a federal mandate by the US EPA for continued primacy of the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and attendant funding. Performs at an advanced level as a lead worker concerning the compliance of public water systems with the state drinking water program. #DHHRJOBS
Minimum Qualifications
Training: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
OR
Substitution: Additional full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience as described below may substitute for the required training at the rate of one (1) year of experience for every thirty (30) semester hours of training.
AND
Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience in the acquisition, preservation, protection and enhancement of environmental resources, or in environmental protection, or in an agency specific area related to environmental impact.
OR
Substitution: Graduate coursework from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience at the rate of fifteen (15) semester hours of training for every one (1) year of experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,157.00 – $70,589.00 per year
