The AfDB wishes to recruit the services of an individual medium-term consultant to support the water and sanitation sector portfolio management in Ethiopia. The consultant, reports functionally to the Division Manager, AHWS.2 and administratively to RDGE/Ethiopia country office, and work with teams across the Bank units. The specific objective of the consultancy is to support the Task Manager (TM) and the Bank’s management:

  1. In the overall management of the ongoing water and sanitation sector portfolio, and specifically the management of the Four Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Program and the Borana Resilient Water Development for Improved Livelihoods Program, Part 1 & 2.
  2. In the preparation of new operations including participating in the appraisal missions; and
  3. Sector and donor coordination including actively participate in donor coordination activities
