The Lahontan Regional Water Quality Board’s Department of Defense/Site Cleanup Unit has an opening for an Engineering Geologist. The position is located in San Bernardino County at 15095 Amargosa Rd, Victorville, CA 92394, close to Interstate 15 exits.
The Engineering Geologist (EG) is responsible for providing timely and professional assistance to the public and staff within the Department, by phone, e-mail, mail, and in person. The EG is required to work independently; communicate effectively; manage multiple projects and tasks; apply geologic methods and principles to evaluate and interpret hydrogeologic/geologic data in consideration of legislation, regulations, and policies; prepare correspondence and other documents; and conduct field work/inspections. Daily proficient utilization of Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment is required.
