Job Summary | The incumbent teaches and conducts research on sustainable environmental management,, water quality, and climate change. He/she may also contribute outreach/extension related to small farmers and underserved communities. |

Essential Job Functions | Conducts a requisite number of classes; teaches assigned subjects Provides guidance and supervision to students Creates and maintains an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, learning and research Preparation and formulation of curricula focused on his/her subjects Participates in departmental meetings and holds scheduled office hours Maintains equipment in the laboratory, makes arrangements for laboratory, makes arrangements for laboratory practical sessions, and provides materials to students Provides academic support to other faculty members Serves on departmental and university committees, as assigned |
Qualifications | Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Science, Agricultural/Biological Engineering, Natural Resource Management or related discipline ABD incumbents must complete their degree within six (6) months |
